Buuuuusy day!

Had fun at church. Good message, and our Bible study was good too.

Went to Gator Farm after church, had lunch and walked around a bit. Then we went to the exotic bird fair. They had ALL SORTS of cool stuff. TONS of birds!!! I got to hold a little pacific parrotlet. I also found one lady who had green-rumps but they were all females. Only $125!!! Those suckers used to sell for upwards of $350 back when I had mine. I would LOVE another green-rump some day. Ah well. I got to see some little parrotlets and that is what matters. <3 We ended up buying a couple of hardy toys for Miss Peach, two small and one large, that have a thick metal wire going through them so she cannot chew off the ropes like she did with the last ones. These will last her a long time. And it cost about half of what you'd pay at Petco for a similar toy. Yay!!

Then Gyl and Josh were at the Gator Farm so we went back, hung out in the rookery for a little while, got to see the wary cassowary they finally put out on display, and ate popcorn while watching catbirdsgrackles trying to work up the nerve to come take a piece set nearby on a railing.

After that Joe and I went up to the outlet malls and went to the Vans store in hopes of finding Joe some new shoes. No such luck, but, I did find two cute t-shirts, one pretty one with a tiger on it and one with a goofy zebra. Then to the Yankee Candle store where I found two candles for my kitchen, to go in candleholders my mom gave me for Christmas, and I got the 'midnight jasmine' candle jar which is bottled-up goodness.

Taco Bell for dinner and then we decided to drive up to look at the house again and scope it out. There was no owner in sight this time so we poked around the property. :P

Pretty nice yard, fully fenced in the back, BIG driveway and a nice front walk. It had vinyl siding instead of the T-111 that the other house had. Tile floors throughout, though we did notice one of the baseboards falling off and in the main room the popcorn ceiling seemed to be peeling. o_O We will get to look more in-depth when we go back tomorrow night with our realtor for the showing. I can't wait to see the inside, it looks pretty nice. Only "bad" thing I noticed was when we peeked in the door (the little stained-glass window in the center was broken out, just metal frame for it remained) the door seemed to smell of cigarette smoke. Not sure if that was just the door or if it smelled throughout the house, we will see about that. This one is listed as a "fixer upper" so we will have to inspect a little more thoroughly of course, and see how it measures up. But, it was BIG (1500 sq ft of -living- space) and the location was GREAT. So keep your fingers crossed on this one!! LOL. :P

Then we came back home. Falling over and chillin for the rest of the night. Ohhh busy. :P
